How to remove these mouse location indicator numbers (?) on all menus and windows?

Just did an in place upgrade from 31.x to 38.01 and after restarting I have these numbers on all Thunderbird menus and windows.

How do I get rid of them?

I have 3 addons installed and one theme. Restarting and running is safe mode doesn't fix the issue

Try the default theme.

Thanks for the input, switching back to the default theme doesn't fix it;
