If a website has an HTML time input then Firefox doesn't display the whole of the clock to set the time. Date is OK

I have a home device running a simple website. Part of the allows the user to update the date and time of the device. Selecting "set date" on my device is OK but on trying to set the clock the "time set" screen on Android 7 is reduced in width and the "set" button is missing (see the attached). The HTML is simple for this function "<input type = "time"name = "newTime"/>". This function works correctly in Chrome and on earlier versions of Firefox on Android.
