Send Later instructions don't work for me within Thunderbird. I composed demo / trial emails to myself to send later: Control + Shift + Enter --- and also Send Later from the File menu. Neither brought up a window for scheduling. The demo emails only showed up in Local Folders > Outbox. There was no File - Send Later option when I opened the demos. My Thunderbird is up to date: 115.3.1 (64-bit). I have Windows 11

Am I missing something or is this no longer a feature within Thunderbird? I'd prefer not to use an extension or a third party product if possible. If I have to, which would be recommended? Pluses and minuses? Thank you

Are you sure you never had an add-on installed. Otherwise, there is no way to "schedule" a "send later" email.

Natively, you only get to manually send later to the outbox, and manually "send unsent messages. This worked fine for me on Mac running 119.0b1 beta.

Thanks Wayne. That's exactly what it was in my case and the way I manged to have the email finally sent.
