Sometimes the "Go Back" button remains disabled even though I browsed to the next page or link on a website ? But other times its working also. Please look into the same and update.

It is disturbing to find the latest version of Mozilla Firefox permits websites to disable the back button. Disabling the back button is evil. Web Masters may celebrate control over users but its annoying and does NOT serve Firefox users. If users on your Web site are craving to hit the back button then there must be a reason! Are Firefox developers supporting porn? If I am on a web site and click and I see porn, I need to hit the back button. Why is Firefox (permitting web masters) disabling the back button? Its lame! Its lame! Firefox (allowing) disabling of the back button. It's disappointing when visiting a web site desperate for CLICKS! The easiest method for these web sites is to disable the back button for Firefox users. Sick! Sick! Sick! ....and you say Firefox is not EVIL? Give me an f'ing break! Disabling and enabling thereof of the BACK button is evil!

I have ALL kinds of problems with FF 11. The back button becomes disabled ALL the time. The rendering is different and even IE 9 is better now!!

I'm very dismayed with Firefox and even Thunderbird is slow as hell, now.

I don't know who is in charge of Mozilla, but basically they should take a very LONG walk off a short pier with cement shoes!

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

See "Basic Troubleshooting: Make a new profile":

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.

If that new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile, but be careful not to copy corrupted files.
