I have four rows of shortcuts on my default browser window. Sometimes the disappear but they always return a few days later. What could cause such occurrence?

I installed mozilla thunderbird onto my new computer. From my old computer, I put the v5lpggs. default file from my old computer in the import area on my new computer. I can use my 3 gmail accounts again but not my 2 .sbcglobal.net accounts as I keep getting all kinds of error messages, mainly wrong configurations or timing out. How do I fix this?

Most pop ups play annoying audio

Some pop up windows, such as educational material from Fidelity.com, show the video, but I can't hear the audio. I can't find anything in the toolbars or settings that would allow me to hear the audio for the particular video. This is a very annoying problem and I don't have this issue with Chrome or Edge. Please let me know what I'm missing? Is there somehing simple, like tap the spacebar to override the "block audio"?

Even though the NAS drive is completely accessible under my Ubuntu installation and accessible in the file explorer, T-B constantly loses the settings if anything happens out of the ordinary. If theres any delay in the connection to the archived directory, T-B defaults back to a non network drive. Lately the T-B program simply refuses to use the network drive directory I select in it's own browser window directory window. All my Email from 2015 is there in archived directories, T-B refuses to load the local directory that has been in this location for almost a decade.

I can access this NAS from anywhere on my network including this Ubuntu desktop however T-B refuses to recognize the local directory.

Whats wrong with T-B lately?

For my image albums on imgbb.com/, I would like Firefox to allow a larger cache then the usual limit for other sites.

Is it possible to raise cache size for one website ?

Or if I set a larger size for the global cache, will the new size be divided among all the other sites I visit, meaning imgbb.com/ does not really get the increased size ... ?

I am using a web application which employs date pickers for all date entry fields. When I use Firefox, two date pickers are displayed, whereas with Chrome and Edge there is only one. Note, this is not for a date range, it's just a single date and the two pickers look different to one another. Why might this be?

When I open YouTube or tik tok in my Firefox browser and play a video, I want the video to stop playing as soon as I close the Firefox app. But when I open my running apps and swipe up to close Firefox, the videos keep playing every time. There is a a media controller for Firefox in my notifications that does not disappear and remains active after I close my Firefox app, I don't want that either; I want those specific things to stop as soon as I close my Firefox app. I do not want my browser to play a video after I have attempted to close the browser to stop the video.

I can't find any settings on the Firefox app about background playback. The only article I found on Mozilla about this feature cheerfully reports that videos will play in the background when you "minimize" the app, and it does not give any direction for how to opt out of this feature by changing the settings. Can someone help me figure this out ?.

On my opening Firefox page there is a header " Your browser is being managed by your organisation". I am an individual and have no organisation.
