Apparently there's a problem with ver. 32.0 & XP, so perhaps I shouldn't be updating. The update has been downloaded; can I stop it now before restarting?

I'm now getting the message "The update will be loaded the next time Firefox starts". Is there any way to STOP the updating at this point, if there are going to be problems with ver. 32.0 under XP (which I am obviously still using)?

I am using Firefox 32.0 on Windows XP and have experienced no issues.

You cannot stop the update now that it have been installed. However, you can downgrade Firefox back to 31.0 once it restarts by downloading 31.0 from here.

Thanks, Wesley - I hope i get as lucky as you apparently were, because I have read of several different kinds of problems like this. I'll go with this and see what happens, I guess ... as if I have a choice at this point, right?
