My Android Tablet default browser has changed from Google to something called SmartDrone.com/ and I seem to recall that there was a way to remove such browser highjacks from within Firefox's own settings toolkit, but I need a reminder of exactly which drop-down menu selection will get it done.

If it's a completely different app:

After that, I would remove the other app completely, and consider using security software to block installation of questionable apps.

Does that help?
