I get "unable to connect" on links from a google search. I can manually type the url from the link, and it goes to the site.

This has started recently, no matter what I search for.

I deleted data, in settings, re connected my mozilla account, and it's still happening.

Dear Madam / Sir: I had Windows 11, all files and applications including Thunderbird reinstalled in my computer, but I am now unable to access existing email server with Thunderbird.

In ' Set up your existing email address' there is a password needed that I don't remember and there isn't an option to reset it. So I am stuck. I called Geek Squad who did the installation; they referred me to AT&T (my internet provider); they said they cannot help with Thunderbird.

Please let me know what I can do to access existing email server in Thunderbird (attached is photo of setting which appear correct), thank you in advance, Stefan

I recently tried logging in to my account at a financial institution and in addition to my user name and password they wanted to send me a verification code. I have no means other than e-mail to receive the code so I cannot log in. E-mail is not one of their optional ways to get the code. They say they have not changed their procedures. Could there possibly be something in the latest Firefox updates that could cause this problem?

I have been unable to complete the update/upgrade of Firefox on my Laptop. Upon starting my computer I have downloaded the upgrade file offered in the opening message. It performs normally right up to the end when it gives a message that something went wrong. It then offers an alternate download and method to upgrade which downloads fine and begins to install. At the end of this install, the install wizard says "finished" however despite the "Launch Firefox" box is checked, it never opens Firefox. For some reason the update is not completing, and now I am having trouble with some Apps opening which I suspect is due to the browser being out of date. I have tried clearing my Cache and Cookies and re-trying but have remained unsuccessful. I really could use some assistance with getting my browser successfully updated. Best Regards, Brian

I keep getting Bad Certificate when I try to print from my Android phone. I can print from my tablet but I keep getting the message, Firefox preventing this print, Bad Certificate?

I've noticed since a few upgraded of Firefox tat I am having an issue loading my local uTorrent GUI at: https://192.168.0.xxx:36724/gui/index.html. I am currently using 132.0.2 x64 and it eventually loads after 3-4 minutes. There are absolutely zero add-ons at the moment, and it does not matter if it is a portable version or standard installed version. I do not seem to have this issue while using Firefox (latest) ESR portable version.

Is there something I'm missing here? I am not sure if it is the port that's the issue with Firefox, because I have a local website using port 9090 and 8080 without any issues on loading. Also, it is happening with the nightly version of FF as well. All other browsers load quickly.

How many impab files should I have in my Thunderbird profile folder? I do have 8 different e-mails managed by Thunderbird (in case that matters). Win 10 Pro PC, Thunderbird Version 128.4.2esr. I have impab.mab (dated 2017), impab.mab.msf (dated 2012), then I have impab-1.sqlite, impab-1.sqlite.shm, impab-1.sqlite.wal -- then I have -2, -3, -4, -5. and -6 of the same three files that have the -1. Should I/can I delete any of these? Should any be kept and renamed? The ones with -1 through -16 are all dated either today (11/25/2024) or 11/19/2024. Just did not know if there were a bunch of duplicate files being created, or if possibly all of these files are needed because of my multiple accounts. All my accounts use the same address book. Also, been using Thunderbird since I started on the internet back in the 1990s - it's in general a fantastic program.

I will have to stop using Mozilla after many years - sad. But I am getting links blocked by stupid error messages about security when the sources are well known and protected. Today it was the Journal of the American Medical Association. I have no time to deal with this nonsense.

I am unable to download new email from my Yahoo/ATT account. I get no error message when I try. Previously worked without a problem for several months after having installed Thunderbird on my new PC running Win11.

For some reason any bottom toolbar in firefox (youtube is for example) is not completely at the bottom. After tinkering around the settings a bit I found that the Scroll to Hide Toolbar setting when disabled is the exact height of the toolbar offset. I'm not seeing that many solutions to this online that's recent.

I have had software problems recently and have lost a number of functions that I could use your help with. My browser is Firefox. And for my home page I use "my.earthlink".

Upon completion of the repair, I discovered that all my stored passwords and user names were lost. I had 189 protected items that are now gone. Does your program (Mozilla/Firefox) have a cloud file or another method to retrieve this information?

I like the Pocket stories on the new tab page, precisely because they are usually *not* news - they are interesting, thought-provoking, or quirky stories that provide a break from actual news headlines. I need to escape the actual "breaking news." Please allow users to get ride of the "real" news section.

Hi, I use Thunderbird to recieve my emails and I save my emails on my mac but I see that the content of almost all emails from december 2023 to august 2024 are disappeared. The emails are not lost. It is only the content and the header? It is strange.

Sporadically, in Thunderbird Mobile Android (Pixel 9), deleted emails do not go into the Trash Folder. E.g., as of today it shows some emails deleted today, but then there is a gap going back 4 days. Nor does it (the Trash Folder) appear to sync with the server which shows "No Messages" on my Windows 11 computer. Started about 4-5 days ago (21Nov).

interesting behavior with a CalDaV calendar entry/date.

Scenario: Create a calendar-entry (date) with an alarm-setting (1h before...). Wait until the new entry is synced to the CalDAV server, in my case a Nextcloud. Close TB. Got to the Nextcloud calendar, or to and other client with that CalDAV Calendar, and remove the alarm, I do frequently in case the date paste... Start TB. After sync of the calendar, TB is telling you, that the date was changed at the server and asked "how to handle the detected conflict" (see screenshot). But 1. it isn't a conflict, just a normal change, which should change the local, "old" date 2. acting on the conflict resolution by pressing the button "Skip changes, load new" (Änderungen verwerfen und neu laden), I'm expecting to get the server version exchanging the local, old one... It does not: The local version will stay with the alarm. These date will not sync to server until TB is restarted. The alarm is now back on the server.

If the alarm is removed at the server (or on another client) while TB is running, the alarm is removed locally as "normal" change by synchronization...

I guess it is a bug!?

I'm using TB Version 128.4.3esr; build-id: 20241108210256 on Windows 11 (64bit). But this is also with TB under Linux (ubuntu, mint)
