Tab "unloading" interferes with using colab.research.google.com and can corrupt hours of compute.

Is "unloading" a binary option? browser.tabs.unloadOnLowMemory true/false

Is the only user-initiated action a destructive action? about:unloads / Unload

Everytime i open firefox it defaults to bing, but not as a homepage which is just my regular firefox, rather as a startup screen. If the firefox application is closed and opened again it will default to bing.

The problem I encounter has happened since I begin to use Firefox on Windows 11. The same problem happened to my Macbook as well, but a workaround is available. While with Windows 11, I can't find the solution anywhere on the web. Whenever I type on the browser, if I write a non-character notation right behind the word (like "this,"), the word would usually auto delete itself or sometimes, the word clone itself out (e.g, wordword, thisthi, etc.) or it deletes a small section of words right behind that non-char. I don't have insert turning on. I am quite uncertain whether you can reproduce this error on your laptop (for me, I have been through 2 windows 11 laptop and this error still persist). This error seems to only occurs for Vietnamese (Telex and VNI) default keyboard from Microsoft, Russian and English work fine. I suspect that it is caused by Microsoft Vietnamese, but I have unchecked all kind of spelling checking on settings. So should I use a third-party Vietnamese language typing for this situation or does it caused by something else?

https://home.oki-toki.net/login is a VOIP site, it calls the client after connection a new tab opens. The problem is that I can't hear the client until I click on the “oki toki” tab. When I click, I can see that only at that moment the client is connected (the button on the site indicates this, take my word for it). Previously on Chrome there was no such problem and I could hear the client immediately without having to go back to “oki toki”. I have enabled all sites to automatically play video and audio. In the deep settings, I disabled the function to automatically unload tabs when running out of memory. This did not help. This problem regardless of whether the browser is open or minimized. Please help

if you join for example a jitsi meeting and switch to another tab then the favicon of the jitsi page gets replaced by a red microphone icon. this replacement keeps running in an animation favicon -> microphone icon -> favicon -> ...

for motion sensitive persons this is terrible.

how to disable the animation

When I highlight a word while browsing, and right-click that, I get the option to search with Google, the search engine it is configured for. However I often would rather go directly to Wikipedia. I do NOT want to make that the default for search, but I would find having another line below "Search Google for " that offers "Search Wikipedia for ". Such an option would save me considerable work. Is there such an option? If so I could not find it. (If not, dare I suggest it as an enhancement?)

bold textUpon restarting and opening Firefox it always opens in a small screen. I need to change the default. opening settings in Firefox or MacOS but cannot find anything. I have emptied my history and cache without improvment.

I want to access my android tabs from my desktop tabs but it keeps "Sign in to Firefox on your other devices" i am singed in on other devices and i can access my desktop tabs from them yet i suddenly became unable to do the opposite, it keeps telling me to sing in to other devices and i do that but nothing happens.

there are two issues, (rtx 3090 for HW decoding)

1) the first one, video blocking (when quality switching)

2) sometimes freezing (especially in 2k resolution)

Also i have tried the other chromium based browsers, they do not any of this problems

When I try to looking for My bookmarks, only appear 3 (three) options for the bookmarks, one (1) of this, is Bookmarks toolbar show.

Only appear those options in Bookmarks, and recent bookmarks.

I need know Where is the joke?

I then downloaded Chrome and everything works perfectly.

Can you please tell me how to get this site working properly on my computer, as I don't want Chrome on my computer.

I have been through all the available help pages on how to change language from English(US) to English(GB). I've gone into the settings, added it as a language,moved it to the top of the list so it shows as the default language. I even tested by adding Spanish, then moved that to the top and sure enough everything turned to Spanish.

However, when set to English(GB), in ChatGPT text box, if I right click and go down to languages, I am only presented with English(US) (which is ticked as default). Interestingly now, doing the same now offers me English(US) and Spanish(ES) but NO English(GB).

Why, when I am clearly doing this correctly, is it not showing the option for English(GB)? Please advise as I don't want to go back to Chrome, but this is really irritating, especially in ChatGPT where it is constantly marking my spelling as incorrect.
