The initial grid of targets used to be most of the width of my display, but now it is only the middle third.

What setting has changed and how do I set it back?

I have Firefox as my main web browser for many years. Yesterday, I couldn't open the browser. It instead creates crash report.

I have Dell desktop Intel Core i7-6700 CPU 3.40Ghz, 16 GB RAM

I use Windows system (Windows 10 Home).

I hate to remove and reinstall Firefox browser as I have saved many usernames, passwords, and websites.

Could you help me fixing the issue?

After clearing my Firefox cache with third-party software, the icons for website shortcuts on the Firefox Home page revert to the default icon (as shown in the image I uploaded). This is expected, as clearing the cache includes removing those saved websites icon.

To restore the actual website icons, I need to visit each specific site. My question is: is there a way to update these icons without having me to open each website in a new tab manually?

I have been using two Firefox browser windows a lot recently. Suddenly the response time to a request to open new window went from immediate to 20 seconds. Initially that meant I hit the "new window" button 10 times to get any response which meant browsing was interrupted for the next 5 minutes by the appearance of yet more new windows at 20 second intervals! Has anyone any idea about what has happened?

fellas my Firefox extensions wont show the drop down menu anymore it just opens a new page/tab. but on my laptop i can select the extensions for example i can open a new container with the container extension on my laptop but not on my PC

The only way I can use the Firefox browser is if I disconnect my Firewall on my Macbook with the macOS Sequoia 15.0 installed. On Oct 2 I received an update for my Firefox browser & it solved the problem, however today, Oct 3, the problem has occurred again where I have to disconnect my Firewall. The solution that I use at the moment is to change to another browser (Safari) which is not really what I want. How can I correct this problem or can you help?

Using Firefox I can no longer access my gmail accounts. Instead I am provided the Google Help Center screen advising me to clear cache & cookies. This situation has been my experience since a upgrades to both Windows and Firefox this week. I can only access my gmail accounts via the Microsoft Edge browser now.

Recently there was an update today, Oct 3rd, where after it was completed, I have been unable to open any extra tabs. Everything has to be in a new window. They keyboard shortcuts do not work and I am running out of ideas.

It will crash out randomly and say that there is an issue when submitting the crash report. Closing the window[s] and then trying to reopen Firefox results in a message saying that it's already running, and the old process needs to be closed to open a new window.

If anyone has any advice, I would greatly appreciate it!

This has been going on for about a week now. I use the google chat/messenger portion thats built into the Gmail website.

I can paste pics, drag and drop, etc, it all seems fine. I can see the thumbnail versions in the chat. People can send me as well. The problem is once I click any, it normally puts a small darkening filter over the back ground and then does a fullscreen view of the image. in this case it just loads forever.

If I right click and try to open in a new tab I get an odd Error 403 message, Your client does not have permission to get URL /chat_attachment/ and then a long string of characters.

Ive tried the usual, updated, rebooted, etc. Even in FFox safe mode to rule out extensions. Still not working.

New version has no refresh window button and no new tab button.

Can you show me how to add a refresh page button? Also, there used to be a tab in the tab bar to make a new tab. How do I get that back? Is this functionality no changing to a plug in? What the heck....

Hi, I got an error code 431 from a website that I used to visit since updating to the newer version 131.0 (64 bit) Firefox on Oct. 1. I tried to clear all the cookies, cache, and reboot the machine, but still get the same error code. Do you have any suggestion how to fix this issue? Thanks.

Please can you tell me how to stop Firefox opening multiple browser pages as I work. As in, when I go from one email address to another, Firefox just opens page after new page causing a lot of confusion.

I want to stop the browser from auto refreshing in some website but it keep auto refresh despite the fact that accessibility.blockautorefresh is marked as "true". In the past it wasn't like that, but someone who used my computer visited the website and clicked on some note from the website and gave it a permission for auto refreshing. I tried to look in the "permissions" of the website but found nothing about auto refreshing. I don't know how to stop those auto refreshing.
