Thunderbird for Android Community Forum

How come now body is answering question here i have to find out by myself in android when I mark a email to spam how come it doesn't mark all future messages from the same emailed as spam I have to do it again and again does nobody know anything about thunderbird for android?

I just installed the Android mobile version of Thunderbird. I was wondering if it supports any form/method of SPAM filtering? If so, how do I access/use it?

The Thunderbird for Android app on my Moto G 5G has a problem with Gmail. For some unknown reason I am receiving several authentification failed notifications per day sometimes 3 or 4 in a row. I uninstalled the app for now in hopes that maybe someone has an answer to this problem. I have Hotmail, and Yahoo mail also on the app without any problems at all, I followed all of the instructions given when I downloaded the app.

I use PC Thunderbird to handle my business emails (Hostinger) - it's great, love it!

Just installed new android app on samsung phone and tablet. Receives emails fine but cannot send any. I've double checked settings are the same - server name , port, SSL/TLS

I've tried turning off VPN. Any ideas please?

Hi, I don't know if I'm in the right place. I can't login to two Google accounts and 3 emails. My ex hacked my accounts, changed passwords and has her phone number as the backup. I can't talk to her to get the codes. I no longer have my phone that I used to set these up. These are so important, not because of actual emails, but for all the pictures and other personal things in those accounts. This is a nightmare. It took 10 days forme to get into FB and Messenger. The number ending in 69 is hers and 23 is no longer active. Thank you

I've replaced K9 with Thunderbird (version 8.1) on my Ultrahertz Jelly Star running Lineage 20. Everything works as expected, but I can't get the Thunderbird app to appear in the homescreen apps list on my custom launcher, AOI (version 5.2.4).

The homescreen apps list is driven by a Category setting within AOI, and I have a category called Frequent to surface apps I use all the time. Earlier apps added to the Frequent category appear as expected, but nothing I've tried surfaces Thunderbird in the same way.

RESOLUTION

In the course of gathering information for this question I inadvertently deleted the Frequent category within AOI Launcher. After recreating it, and adding my most frequently used apps, Thunderbird is now included in their number.

Hello Can you offer push activation directly on all the folders of an e-mail address? When there are multiple sub-folders (for automatic sorting by filter under thuderbird PC), it's tedious. Thanks

If I set manual retrieval in the settings for an account, it is still retrieved when I open TB. How can I make it so that it is not retrieved at all, as on the desktop version, but only when needed? In the desktop version, I press the F5 key,

Currently, I am using the desktop version of Thunderbird and I have my email account configured to digitally sign my emails with an S/MIME certificate. I cannot find a way to import my certificates on the android version of Thunderbird. Is there away to setup certificates in the Android version of the app?

I installed the app, and configured the account for pop3 settings. Mails are coming, but when sent, it is not reaching destination. The settings are correct, as same setting works in aqua mail on same mobile (installed for testing purpose).

Hello, Very exited to see thunderbird coming to android but I cannot sync all my mails.

I am using posteo and I configure several filters from the posteo website itself so my computer and my phone sort the mail the same way. I don't have any trouble with thunderbird on my computer but thunderbird on my phone only download the mail which are not filters when I ask to check for new messages. I have to go to every folders which are present on my phone and drag down to sync each folder one by one.

Do you have a solution to receive all mails at the same time ?
