I am trying to set up a blog using Wordpress and Go Daddy. When I try to open my account of GD using my domain name I get the error "Error. Page cannot be displayed. Please contact your service provider for more details. (17)" .

Is this a Foxfire issue or one of the other websites? Thank you for the clarification so I can move forward on solving this.

That sounds like godaddy and your ISP issue. And you need to provide a URL so others can see what site your using that is causing the issue as well for those whom uses godaddy to replicate the issue if they can.
