the vertical tabs on firefox normal and fire fox nightly is different. The mac icons(close, minimise) are different can you pls fix this , i saw a guy in yt video using normal firefox and his was like nightly. left is normal firefox and right is firefox nightly pls help me

I couldn't find any information in google regarding my issue. I'm Polish and I'm using polish keyboard layout so when pressing ALT and a letter i get polish signs: ąłźć etc. But sometimes, only in firefox, CTRL starts to behaving strange, I can't use any shortcuts (CTRL+T, CTRL+C, CTRL+A etc) because CTRL starts to working like ALT and I get polish letters instead of selecting all text. ALT is still working like intended.

I don't know what triggers this and what makes it go away (it's not permament). When I started typing this it started to working correctly but it will return in some time. Im using 132.0 on Windows 11.

In my attempt to better organize my BOOKMARKS, having regained access following a PC compromise, I now no longer have the BOOKMARKS I so much would like to organize as I want. How can I now again gain access to and improve upon a 5 day old set of BOOKMARKS?

Please provide STEP by STEP instructions to regain access to the now 5 day old set of BOOKMARKS and any helpful info related to this task.

Bonjour, Depuis une récente mise à jour de de Thunderbird, lorsque je me connecte (au lancement de windows puisque Thunderbird est ensuite actif tout le temps) on est inondé de notifications. J'explique : - auparavant, si l'on avait 3 comptes mail, Thunderbird téléchargeait les mails reçus pendant la non activité et l'on était notifié 3 fois, une fois pour chaque compte, peu importe le nombre de messages reçus sur chaque compte - Maintenant, on reçoit autant de notifications que de messages reçu, ce qui est très long et peur durer très longtemps si vous n'avez pas été connecté pendant plusieurs jours.

Y a-t-il un paramètre qui puisse permettre de revenir à la pratique précédente, car c'est insupportable.

Ensuite, durant la journée, ce n'est pas un problème de recevoir une notification chaque fois qu'arrive un message. Merci pour vos conseils et tant mieux s'il y a une correction au cas ou ça ne correspondrait à aucune necessité. Cordialement Dominique

Instructions for adding lines to the bookmarks toolbar are too complex. We need to be able to grab the bottom of the toolbar and drag it down to add lines. How about it, Mozilla?

In summary, I am a total beginner and just need help making the right-click menu appear properly on sites and such like it used to before I screwed up some random setting.

If that's not doable, then could I get some help to try and see if I can restore a backup of older FireFox settings that predate my messing up the settings or something?

Basically, I was exploring various settings in-browser in FireFox and at some point somehow changed something that suddenly prevented the right-click menu from appearing when I right-click on anything.

I also was changing things in the settings of an extension called "Sideberry" that I use to organize tabs, so whatever I changed that is stopping me from right-clicking properly might be in that extension's settings rather than in the normal browser settings; I am not sure.

I tried changing "Use native context menu" (in Sideberry settings) from off to on and vice-versa, but turning it to be on just prevents me from seeing the extension-specific right-click menu when I right-click in Sideberry. It doesn't make the normal browser right-click menu that you get when right-clicking websites themselves come back.

I'm setting up a cloud-init to make it easier to deploy Linux workstations. I want to display the various links to my sites on my Firefox browser. Bookmark my services. Do you think this is possible? I've already applied a rule to retrieve certificates, but it seems complicated for bookmarks.

I’m experiencing an unusual issue with mouse sensitivity in Firefox. When I open Firefox, my mouse sensitivity or DPI seems to drop significantly, making it difficult to navigate. However, when I close Firefox, my mouse sensitivity returns to its normal level. This issue does not occur in other browsers like Microsoft Edge or Opera, where the DPI remains stable, suggesting the problem is specific to Firefox and not related to my laptop or system settings.

I’ve tried troubleshooting on my end, but the issue persists. Could you please advise on any specific settings or configurations in Firefox that could be causing this DPI sensitivity drop? If this can’t be resolved, I may need to consider uninstalling Firefox and switching to a different browser for a smoother experience.

Setting for "Download" FORCE duplicate saving of ALL downloads. I have tried every setting combo possible AND set 'ASK" for ALL files but NO MATTER what FOLDER I chose to download a file to it ALWAYS saves a DUPLICATE in my DOWNLOAD folder. In settings it is IMPOSSIBLE to leave the "Where to Save" Field EMPTY. I download MANY FILES a day and this requires me to VERIFY 1) did the file really go to MY selected choice and the time of download and is the DUPLICATE that was FORCED to my "DOWNLOAD" folder actually go ONLY there. Hi All. Not sure if anyone came across same issue.

Installed the latest version. Whenever the app is launched, windows comes up on the front screen but I am not able to interact with the browser at all. I can press and expand the menu options, but not able to launch anything... Same happens with the search bar - only able to navigate to address bar, when typing in the address and pressing Enter, bar goes back to 'blank' and doesn't load any page. Tried different versions of the app, installing it from the download page as EXE and from MS Store as and app. Same issue persist in each scenario. The issue seems to be related only to Firefox despite having Chrome and Edge available on the device and both working just fine.

I am using Dell Laptop with Windows 10 (22H2) OS.

Any troubleshooting steps would be greatly appreciated.

There are tiles on the Firefox start page. You can customize these using the three-dot menu. When you click on "Apply a custom graphic..." an input field appears. If I enter a link address that is on my PC, the error message appears: "Image could not be loaded. Use a different address." What do I have to enter to get a custom graphic?

I installed "group speed dial" it defaults to four dial icons across the top of my screen which is larger than most. I would like to make it six dialing icons across the top. How to....

Not really needing help per se, but would love to see the home screen shortcuts improved. There is NO WAY to delete ALL identical ones, and must individually delete them, one at a time. E.G. shortcuts to, say, NBC.com might show up 10 times, and EACH has to be deleted individually. Why no way to just dump them all at one time?? Yes, they might be to different pages at NBC.com, but if one wants to get rid of them it's a real pain. And newer, less visited sites don't make it to the home page because, well, they are less visited than the domain NBC.com but might well be more visited than the unique NBC.com pages.

Maybe a consideration for the next update?
