Sometimes it has blank fields and the copy option is missing. Also, when I right click on a link and choose "open in a new tab" nothing happens, it doesn't open the link in a new tab. I have tried restarting Firefox in safe mode and the problem still persists. I have uninstalled all plugins and reinstalled firefox from scratch and the problem is still there. I have deleted my firefox profile and created a new one and the problem is still there! I use Linux Mint 17.1 and I uninstalled/reinstalled firefox from package manager. This problem just came to be one day and I have no idea why. After removing firefox completely some mozilla specific files still remained in my system: hyena@hyena-Vostro1710 /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins $ ls flashplugin-alternative.so libtotem-gmp-plugin.so libjavaplugin.so libtotem-mully-plugin.so libtotem-cone-plugin.so libtotem-narrowspace-plugin.so hyena@hyena-Vostro1710 /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins $ I did not dare to delete those files since it required root privileges.
