Before the Thunderbird update to Version 128.3.1esr it was possible to click on an Event in the Lightning Calendar and drag it to a different day. You can still do this when the Calendar is displayed in 'Week' mode, but now you cannot drag an event to a different day when the Calendar is displayed in 'Multi-Week' or 'Month' mode.

I have af mail account at One.Com - for years no problem with using Thuinderbird. This morning I am not able to send mails from Thuinderbird. They stays in draft. I have done every thing surgestet at thunderbird support. I have been dialog with One.Com.

I can create a MS outlook IMAP mail and send with no problems.

Hi, after an update to the functions 'send' and 'send later' do not work anymore with no error message. Just doing nothing. When I send the email via Mail Merge, it works. What is wrong, what can I do? /Hans

I can download my Outlook.com incoming mail to Thunderbird, no problem. But when I try to send mail from Thunderbird (version 128.3.3esr (32-bit) - earlier versions same problem) I get the following error message:

"Sending of the message failed. The message could not be sent because connecting to Outgoing server (SMTP) smtp-mail.office365.com failed. The server may be unavailable or is refusing SMTP connections. Please verify that your Outgoing server (SMTP) settings are correct and try again."

Microsoft provides settings requiring 0auth2/Modern Auth for SMTP mail: (screenshot)

Checking account settings in Thunderbird reveals that Oauth2/Modern Auth, as specified by Microsoft, is not among the options given for SMTP authentication: (screenshot)

I know there has been quite a bit of discussion on this topic but I haven't found anything specific to help; I've been circling around the problem to no avail and I'm sure you clever people will have an answer!

Have I missed or misinterpreted something here, or is Thunderbird no longer able to send Outlook.com mail?

Since I changed PCs and reinstalled Thunderbird, I've had a problem that I can't solve. In my orange.fr mailbox (and only in that one), my Drafts and Sent folders are duplicated. The distribution between the folders seems random, or I didn't recognize its logic. Here's their location: DRAFT imap://g.freyburger%40wanadoo.fr@imap.orange.fr/INBOX/DRAFT imap://g.freyburger%40wanadoo.fr@imap.orange.fr/INBOX/Drafts SENT imap://g.freyburger%40wanadoo.fr@imap.orange.fr/INBOX/OUTBOX imap://g.freyburger%40wanadoo.fr@imap.orange.fr/INBOX/Sent When I consult my sent messages on my browser (Brave), it is the one corresponding to imap://.../INBOX/OUTBOX that appears and only it. Orange can't help me, telling me that the problem concerns TB. How do I merge DRAFT and Drafts, and also DRAFT and Drafts without losing my messages. Of course, I don't want to lose any messages... I have been having trouble with my Email on Thunderbird.

The Emails are displayed correctly in my AOL mail account but when they are transferred to Thunderbird this is what I get sometimes but not always. Just started having this problem about 4 weeks ago.

Reinstalled Thunderbird and updated but still have the problem.

Suddenly Thunderbird will not send emails from one of my computers. Nothing in my configuration has changed. I compose an email, and when I click 'Send' nothing happens except that the menu bar and button strip at the top of the 'Write:' window turn gray.

I can receive emails with no problem. I have another computer with Thunderbird installed and the same accounts on it, and that PC is able to send without any problem. Today is the first day that I have noticed this issue.

When I then close the 'Write:' window I am asked if I want to save the email as a Draft.

How can I get my Yahoo mail (with new password) to come in on Thunderbird? I finally got it on another computer, but it won't work on this one. I can't see how to change the pw on Thunderbird, if that's the problem.

I have imported a certificate and setup my Thunderbird. When I try to send an email using encryption it won't send and Thunderbird displays the message ' End-to-end ecryption requires resolving certificate issues for XXXX@ddd.com'

How do I resolve this ?

I am using Thunderbird 128.3.1esr on Linux, using the KDE's Plasma 6 desktop environment with KWin using the Wayland protocol.

I have installed two add-ons whose interface is blank: Tag Toolbar/Tag Popup and Tagger. Their interface opened when clicking on the button placed in the toolbar is blank. Namely, there is nothing to see but white space in the box that opened. For Tagger, it is possible to actually interact with the non-visible interface, but for Tag Toolbar this does not seem to be the case. I've attached a screenshot of Tagger's blank interface.

• What could be the reason for this visual glitch?
• Has anyone else encountered something similar before?
• Is there more information I can gather to help resolve the issue?

I am trying to free up my Gmail Inbox and used Google Takeout to export a 14 GB .mbox file. I now want to import it into Thunderbird, I installed the add-on ImportExport Tools NG but somehow my Folder structure is not showing up for me to import the file. When I follow Tools- ImportExport Tools NG -Import profile it won't let me upload the file. On my left side I can see that my folder structure doesn't show any folders. Please advise how to proceed. I have attached screenshots for you to view. I do not want to IMAP import my Gmail account into Thunderbird as I will proceed deleted these files off my account to free up space and do not want this action to be mirrored in Thunderbird.

After rebooting my Mac (MacOS 10.15.7) and opening Thunderbird (128.3.3esr), the inbox display looks messed up. The columns are in different places, and the headings don't match.

See the enclosed screenshot: The subject of the mail is listed under "Correspondents", the sender is listed below "Size", the column for the "favorite" icon (big star) is ridiculously wide and can't be made smaller, the column containing the "spam" symbol has the heading "Date". The column holding the date column is only showing about 3 characters of the date and can't be made wider.

When I worked yesterday, everything looked normal.

How can I fix this? What could possibly be have messed up the settings?

Although there are items in the deleted folder, I am unable to see them. They do sometimes appear if I go back in after say 30 Minutes. How can I get them to show? Also, when sending e-mails I am getting the message 'Your message was sent but a copy was not placed in your sent folder (Sent) due to network or access errors. You can retry or save the message locally to Local Folders/Sent'. How can I get them to go into the main 'Sent' folder automatically as they used to do?

In Thunderbird, how to search calendar events, NOT OCCURENCES. If I search an event among all, the search takes for ever: it searches through all occurrences of all events. This used to work well. I don't know what I did. LIstings were including every matching Event ONE ONCE. Thank you

Thunderbird started putting me emails from the same place into some kind of tree.

The problem is it doesn't show when there is a new email, it just stays greyed out as if it's been read when it hasn't.

How do I either just get it back to individual emails or have it actually show me when I get new messages?

I hope this makes sense, it probably doesn't because I couldn't google the answer haha

I just installed thunderbird and I try to set up my email but it doesn't work. It says: unable to log in at server. Probably wrong configuration, username or password. But all my credits are corrects. Plz help me
