Amazon kindle default device reset after purchase
Just recently I started having a problem (in the last week or so). I set my default Amazon kindle device. I buy a Kindle book. The default kindle device is reset (none of the devices are the default one). I have cleared cache and history. No affect. Tried this on another PC and got the same error. Tried it in IE and no error - default device remained set. So there is something in maybe the latest version of FF that is causing that default device setting to be lost? (I have not been able to determine exactly where the default Kindle device setting is kept, but it seems to be in the browser since FF does not work and IE does work on my PC).

Firefox for Android will not have any affect on Kindle default settings. However I understand this happens after you purchase a book. Check your account settings to make sure there are no preferences for the device being changed. Also contact the Kindle support team, I have seen that they are excellent.

This problem happens in Firefox for PC. I don't use Firefox for Android. However the problem stopped happening on it's own and I suspect the Kindle people did something to fix it after I and 2 other people complained about having the problem. Thanks for verifying that it shouldn't be a Firefox problem, but rather an Amazon problem.
