Hello,

I have a 50 user environment that requires me to control the applications and the versions installed on each desktop. How do I turn off automatic updates for FireFox, including extensions and how do I control what and when updates are installed? I cannot do this one machine at a time.

Thanks for your help.

You would need to lock the update prefs to false to do that in a reliable way.

See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Locking_preferences

Update prefs:

app.update.enabled
browser.search.update
extensions.update.enabled
lightweightThemes.update.enabled

You can also look at the update.url prefs
