Have you ever tapped a link to visit a website, but instead an app opened on your device? This can be frustrating, especially when you prefer to view the content in your browser. Firefox version 128 introduces a new feature that helps you block these links from automatically opening in external applications.

By default, this setting is off, but you can easily turn it on by following a few simple steps:

  1. At the right side of your address bar, tap the application menu IG main menu.
  2. In the dropdown menu, select Settings.
  3. At the bottom of the General section, look for the option to Block Opening External Apps. Toggle the switch to turn it on.
