When I download something with Firefox it will only use or show half my speed and only download up till 50% and than immediately after complete. So from that I do know it uses 100% of my speed but somehow only shows 50% and also strangely enough complete downloading at 50% and jump right up to 100% within a second.

Something is wrong. Its a strange error.

Maybe someone or the firefox support team knows the answer.

Thanks.

With a 600mb download active, firefox is consuming 50% of my cpu (dual core), the other 50% is consumed by the system.

Firefox is probably making some system calls which cause this massive cpu hog
