Yup, you guessed it - I was organizing my bookmarks and accidentally deleted a fold I wanted to keep. I have saved all of my current bookmarks to an html file, and restored FF from the last auto backup (from Monday). I've been deleting old bookmarks and broken links, so my html file has less bookmarks in it than the restored file. Ideally, I would like to keep just this one folder I'm missing, and then restore the rest of my bookmarks from the html file. Since all I need is 1 folder, is there any way to export just this folder to an html file and then restore it from there? If not, is there any other way to get these back? I have FF 30 and run Windows 7.

Thanks so much!

Did some more digging in the forum and may have found a "work-around" that would actually solve 2 questions at the same time. Someone had asked about bookmark folders with FF android. The reply is that the only way to ogranize bookmarks in android app is to create the folders inside the sync profile on the desktop. Could I copy the needed folder into a folder in the sync profile then remove my andriod device from sync AFTER get the needed folder to show up on it. This will isolate the needed folder in the mobile bookmarks. Then I could restore the desktop bookmarks from the html file then resync my android. Resyncing would (should?????) show the missing folder then I could copy it to my bookmark library. Does this sound like it would work? If so, can you tell me where to find the sync profile & how to create the folders, if it differs from the normal method?
