youtube black screen
When I play a YouTube video in Firefox the screen stays black for about 20 seconds then it starts to buffer (About 5 secs) and the video begins to play. During the time the screen is black Firefox freezes and I cant click on any tabs or links. This started happening about 3 days ago.
I tried safe mode and the problem still happens. I also disabled ad-blocker but that that didn’t help either. I disabled hardware acceleration but it didn’t work. YouTube works fine in google chrome.

What adblock or security software are you using? Also what addons are you using?
I use AdBlock but I've set it not to run on youtube. I even paused it but the problem is sill there..
The weird thing is that some videos play instantly and then others start with a black screen, then it buffers and then the video plays.

Today it seems the issue has fixed itself. I'm no longer getting the black screen problem.
