insert file from file explorer to john hopkins but when click message to insert on it showes firefox upload with old data and does not show file explorer with current files. I do not understand why this is being done?

I'm trying to insert a document in a John Hopkins message but when i tap insert in message the screen showes up as firefox upload and not file explorer. The data shown is not the latest and is not complete. what is the firefox upload? Thanks Perry
