I downloaded iMesh a while ago with the promise of legal, free music downloads. It took over my homepage, even after I had uninstalled it. I've changed my homepage back to what I want it as, but everytime I open a new tab, iMesh Search opens. I just want the blank pages I used to get back, how can I fix this?

p.s. It has also stopped me from being able to use the adress bar to search the net

Start on your computer screen and click "Run" then

Type "appwiz.cpl" (without quotes) and hit "Enter" to log into the programs window Add/Remove Programs then

Scroll and click on the Imesh Toolbar. It may also be labeled as Imesh media bar

Click "Remove/Uninstall," and confirm "Yes" to uninstall it from your computer.

If you do not see Imesh in the programs window, move to the next step to remove it from your web browser then

Launch Firefox "Tools" on the top menu. Click "Add-ons" and click the "Extensions" tab. Click "Imesh Toolbar" and click "Uninstall." Restart your web browser.

Double-click "My Computer" on your desktop then Double-click the C: drive and double-click the "Program Files" folder then Locate the Imesh folder and delete it. Empty the recycle bin.

i hope i help

here is how i found where the golly gee whiz damn thing explicitives excluded imesh and bleeping uninstaler it hidden took me all day to find the sorry dog

and the directory it is in first place it is hidden but you can find it heres the address on your computer for it goto your computer c:/

dont use dos environment use the windows environment hope you people know what you are doing okay goto program files click on it then click on imesh applications and then click on mediabar there is a application that says uninstall literally click it on twice then it will start uninstalling every little thing until it finshed you will need to compress the files and put in several folders you name yourself

C:\Program Files\iMesh Applications\MediaBar

after you unistall it will have two *.dll files cant be deleted or erased says that i dont have that authority

there are two dll files in mediabar that you cannot seem to get rid of for some weird reason and that is why i compressed them and put in subfiles

besure you put the file imesh application in subfiles that are three subfiles deep and then compress them this will end your problems with imesh bs stuff dont download n nomore or if you do it still malware anyway you look at it!
