This is super frustrating. How to use Firefox for development purposes? There should be an option to add exceptions. I even went to settings and added an exception manually to no avail.

I'm going often through pain to use firefox for everything but then there must be a reasonable way to achieve the goals.

Please tell me there is a way to workaround this easily without compromising security of other sites that are being visited.

P.S. I can open same site with adding an exception on chrome.

This isn't strictly related to Hulu but using it as an example: Hulu has some bug right now where it will occasionally suddenly use a lot of CPU power and completely lock up Firefox, and to some degree my whole system. If I manage to "close" the tab, it *appears* to close, but it's very clear that whatever Hulu is doing is still going on in the background. This time I was at least able to open the task manager and kill Firefox – which immediately alleviated the problem, and upon reopening Firefox, the Hulu tab was still there (indicating it never closed).

I don't know if this is possible, especially given I don't know what's causing the bug with Hulu, but it would be nice if Firefox was better able to handle a tab getting out of control like that.

Hello,

I have checked the box "Always ask you where to save files". It works well most of the time, however, I have faced a case in which it does not. Opening a link to a pdf file directly from google search results, somehow bypasses this option, and starts downloading the pdf automatically, and opens it after download finished. I believe you are aware how dangerous it is to open pdf files directly.

If there is a solution to this, I will be glad to hear from you, as it is very important issue. Thank you beforehand.

Hi there,

I've noticed that since a certain update (1 - 2 months ago?), when using the Firefox screenshot feature (that is, using Shift + Command/Ctrl + S), clicking on webpage still has effect on the webpage itself: After pressing Shift + Command/Ctrl + S, so that the browser enters screenshot mode, I have to click on a certain area in order to orient the screenshot camera, then click somewhere again, in order to click the "Copy" or "Download" button when the screenshot is ready. If I remember right, these two click actions wouldn't influence the webpage itself at all in older versions of Firefox, because in the screenshot mode the interaction between webpage and mouse clicks was "blocked". However, this is not the case anymore. That means, the webpage could no more look like how it looked like at the moment I wanted to take the screenshot, due to the unblocked mouse click. Even though for most static pages it's not a big deal, for many dynamic pages like online games this is absolutely annoying. Any workaround?

Firefox won't display background video on my website http://iconx.tech/home-1-8/ while other browsers do it seamlessly. Kindly fix this issue, or I regrettably needs to point out to my audience that webpage has been reported to break on Firefox and advise them to use Chrome or other browser.

Thanks and kind regards.

I'm having issues with videos loading on ANY webiste, YouTube ect.... This started happening very recently out of the blue. Videos work fine on Edge. Additionally, I cannot run Firefox in troubleshooting mode? It crashes. I tried "refreshing" and reinstalling Firefox to no avail. I am using AdAware AV and AVG anti viruses if it matters, I have tired disabling both and loading FIrefox, no changes.

I tried filling out a Contact form on a website here: https://www.klineind.com/contact/ using Firefox and after submitting it, I got the message, "Sorry, for technical reasons you can't submit your query from this browser. Please try using a different browser or computer." So I started over again using Google Chrome and the form was successfully submitted!

I have screenshots of both Firefox and Chrome after the submission but I cannot attach them here, it appears. For better troubleshooting, I suggest that screenshots be allowed to be attached.

I have recently had some issues with Firefox's compatibility and which hopefully will be addressed.

Thank you.
