Hi,

I have finally managed to escape MS 365 and wanted to use Apple Mail. Having problems with that so I set up Thunderbird (TB).

Now all of a sudden all I get is a blank white screen with the spinning Apple beach ball. Forever.

I have done all the usual things, computer on and off again, reinstall the TB app etc.

The TB dock icon shows there is mail but I cannot get to it.

I did search Google and this forum but only found a closed thread with no solution.

Any help would be appreciated :-)

I am trying to attach a document to a online message being sent to a doctor by clicking 'attach' in message. What is happening is the screen that should be current file explorer showing all the files comes up showing the message 'firefox tag' with words 'file upload' and some old data. I do not understand why! Should I be deleting firefox and reloading ? CAn someone point me in right direction? Thank You, Perry

something has happened in the last couple of weeks. I can no longer use firefox to get into sites with embedded information. I can't get into my Bank account or Energylink. I've been using firefox for years but I may have to switch if someone doesn't tell me how to fix this....

I don't know how to put it into words that well, but, it's as if my Firefox is just a clickable picture. If I try to use the search engine, it won't let me search, just put words in. If I try to open the menu, I can't, I can only click on the three lines with no pop-up. I can't use my addons, I can't even open another tab. I've tried opening other windows, restarting my computer, leaving it off for a while, and letting it stay on for hours, but it still isn't working. I tried running the updater, but It won't run. I tried running the maintenance service, same outcome. I don't want to delete Firefox because I fear that my account didn't probably sync some important things. I’m doing a white card coarse on express online training. I don’t own a computer or iPad and they said if I’m having trouble submitting my answer try fire fox. I am trying to do that but with no success

I'm having trouble with the current file Explorer being overlayed with a old file Explorer and a comment 'firefox symbol and word "file upload". This is happening while I'm trying to insert a document file into a online web page for a doctor. When I click the insert button on page that is when the Explorer is failing as noted above. There is an audio startup delay that persists on all websites and is present only in Mozilla. So far I've Cleaned cache of all websites; Turned off the hardware acceleration and restarted Firefox;

Also this problem sometimes randomly disappears, but only until the next restart when it shows itself again. I don't know what to do because I literally can't use some websites in Firefox

I have used multiple searches today and used one to purchase tickets. I left that tab open, assuming that it would remain available to make use of tickets and QR codes. That tab has disappeared and my history fails to reveal all of the tabs I have used today. How do I recover this information?

I have downloaded several files, but when I go to my finder folder to find them in dowloads or documents, where I saved them, they do not appear. On firefox downloads page, half successfully downloaded but half say "moved or missing". Finding conflicting info about this online. Why does this happen and can I recover the files?

Since my last update 'Thunderbird' is giving issues never experienced previously!

Freezing of screen on loading - takes about a minute to make progress.

Click 'send' - "not responding" - one or two minutes to become active again!

Same issue when clicking any other function!!!

Any advice greatfully received.

Firefox keeps crashing when I click on a video and I've lost sound about 2 weeks ago. I've looked at everything I can find (Don't have a lot of experience with what to look for). I have considered going back to last Firefox download but don't know if that would help or how to do. I did also reinstall Firefox without removing this on that I have all set up. I've gone back to the original Firefox (using now) since it was not deleted. Hopefully, I didn't make things worse. Please help! Thank you!

For several weeks every time I try to download an attachment (docx, pdf, jpg) from gmail, Firefox freezes and I have to force quit firefox. I'm on a 2019 Mac with 16 GB RAM and 512 SSdisk, running Macos 12.4 (Monterrey). I keep hoping the next firefox update will fix the problem but I just did another without success. Computer rebooted multiple tijmes. Solution is always just go to Chrome and it works no problem. Thx, Richard

I use a program called Beat Buddy Manager Online (https://bbmo.singularsound.com/) Currently, it does not work in my preferred browser (Firefox).

Please create a new version of the browser app that supports the ability to use FileSystemAPI on directories, this is essential for working with a BeatBuddy project and SD cards that are saved on my computer using the online editor.

Audio/Video frequently goes out of sync on streaming video. (local news channels). The video stream slowly gets delayed after about 10 minutes.

This ONLY happens with Firefox. I have edge at work. Works fine. Also tested on chrome. Works fine.

This happens on all of my PC's in the house, no matter what the OS or hardware level.

(2) Win 10 home (low spec) (2) Win 10 pro

Newest PC is win 11 pro i5h13400 32 GB Ram RTX 4060

The easiest fix would be to find a setting to delay the audio. We do this all the time for concert venues, but we split the streams as soon as we get them so we can process them independently. I shouldn't need to do this in my living room.

Is the a setting some where I can get to the audio timing? Or maybe an add-on?

Hi everyone, I've looked for help but can't seem to find what works. I went to about:config and searched for toolkit.winRegisterApplicationRestart and made it false, it worked for less than a week and now firefox is starting when the computer boots up. How do i stop this? I'm using windows 11 24h2. I've been using firefox for years. My computer boots up faster than my router and it keeps saying i don't have internet. I'd appreciate any help thanks.
