why is there no way to select audio/video/ microphone input or output? . my headset dies all the time and i would like to change in firefox which output the audio should go into. while skullcandys headphones firmware sucks, firefox has the wherewithal to have a device settings section where i can choose which device has which input and output

The spam people say to "limit outbound port 25 to mail servers". I have a profile listed on the webpage called "Outgoing Server SMTP Settings" from long ago .... This is the one (I have a few profiles) that is designed (Default)

Server: shawmail.vc.shawcable.net Port: 25 (default 587) Connection security - none

All my other profiles use: Server: smtp.shaw.ca Port: 587 (default 587) Security: STARTTLS

Q: Might this be the problem? Can I simply delete this profile - even if it is the designed 'Default'.

I cannot pin the extension to the toolbar. The extension is not shown in the puzzle icon dropdown, and it is not in the overflow. Please add an automatic pin to the toolbar when a new extension is added! How do I pin it now?

Hi, I download some e-mails. After checking the emails, I want all of them to be deleted from thunderbird but... ...I want only specified emails deleted from server.

In Mac's "Mail" program, there was a special window, where I could see all e-mails on server and just select which I want to remove from server.

In old Outlook, I've used "Rules". There I could set the parameters for specified e-mails and then tell outlook to "leave that message on server" or "Don't download that message from server".

Hello, "desktop view" is very useful, and I use it for LinkedIn because the "mobile mode" is shitty (I guess to make/force people to install the proprietary and closed source LinkedIn app).

I found that "desktop view" is stopping working while activated, when you always keep a tab opened for days... I have to close the tab and open a new one to make "desktop view" working again.

I found too that "open in a new tab" action is not inheriting the view mode of the parent tab and that an issue when browsing the same website.

Could it be possible to have "desktop view" enable by default based on visited website?

I thought I was able to set my computer browser to remember how to fill out forms that I have filled out in the past. Now, all of a sudden, I go the the form page click on its first line to bring up my necessary information, & all I get is a blank page.

I have an issue with the Firefox printing dialog. Everything I print comes out tiny, covering only 25% of the page. This only happens when using the Firefox print dialog, when I select "use system dialog" everything prints fine. The page looks normal on the print preview window, and only looks small once printed. I have tried resetting the printer settings from about:support, and I don't see any erroneous settings in about:config. I'm assuming there is something I'm missing that makes the page size wrong.

Hi everyone, I'm desperately trying to disable Firefox from starting when my windows starts up. I've tried disabling startup apps.

I've tried setting some settings to false like toolkit.winRegisterApplicationRestart & browser.startup.windowsLaunchOnLogin.disableLaunchOnLoginPrompt and this worked for a while and now it's back to starting with windows.

The box is unticked in menu - settings - Open Firefox automatically when your computer starts up. I tried al-sorts of things but I'm still having the same problem

Does anyone have any possible solutions I can try please? At the moment I have a script to end task as I can't find any other solution.
