Browser will no longer allow me to access sites I access all the time

I am trying to access various websites that I accessed just 12 hours ago, and I am being told I can not due to either content issues - such as the site being considered porn by my browser, or because the IP Address is Uncategorized. I checked to see if I had a faulty Windows Update to explain this, and while there was a security update 12 hours ago, it was listed as successful. How can I access my websites again?

I discovered the filter was also affecting my Kindle. I contacted the ISP, and discovered they had made a mistake on their end. The problem is now resolved. Thank you for your response though.

The filter is calling itself "Secure Computing Smart Filter web gateway security" According to Google this is a McAffee related software - and I am not running any McAffee software.

It could be the work of one of your add-ons, or even add / mal-ware. Look thru your add-ons list and make sure you know what each one is there for. Also, check the programs that are on your computer Windows > Start > Control Panel > Uninstall Programs. (Mac: Open the "Applications" folder) Go thru the list and use a web search to check any that you don't know what they are.
