geocomplete doesnt work in new firefox
Hi. I am a web developer and I love your guys's browser, although i do question the move of making it look so much like chrome now, anyways ever since upgrading to version 30.0 jquery geocomplete no longer works on any of the sites i coded it for when viewing in firefox although viewing examples online at github and http://www.jqueryscript.net/demo/jQuery-Geocoding-Places-Autocomplete-with-Google-Maps-API-geocomplete/examples/simple.html here works perfectly, viewing it anywhere in chrome also works perfectly. Do you have any tips suggestions on what to do because i've copied the code perfectly from the online sites and none of it seems to work

If you check the Browser Console, do you see any security-related errors? I'm thinking particularly of content security policies or other cross-site issues.
To open the Browser Console, you can use either:
- Ctrl+Shift+j
- "3-bar" menu button > Developer > Browser Console
- Tools menu > Web Developer > Browser Console
I suggest clicking the Clear button, the reload the target page to check for any issues on load, then execute your code and check for any new messages.
i looked up some help and the best answer i could find was disable log panels on firebug, that made it work, but when i went to the github example site theirs worked prior to me disabling the log panel
the error log showed vd and r is not defined in maps.static.google
Firebug is a pretty complex extension and I'm not sure there are enough heavy users here to solve this. You might want to pose this question in the Firebug community: https://getfirebug.com/community
This is a known issue, see the Firefox 30 site compatibility document.
Gewysig op
yeah i saw that, but what strikes me as odd is when viewing the example on github the demo worked fine while firebug as enabled
