How do I change the shaded spelling error area from grey to a more visible colour?

Prior to sending an email I have set Thunderbird to do an auto spell check. When this is done the INCORRECT word is highlighted with a LIGHT GREY box which is very hard to find on the page within the email. How do I change this light grey to a more quickly visible colour? Thanks for your help!

Thanks and yes I have a red squiggly line - any chance someone may know how to change the light grey shading to a more visible colour?????
