How to stop Youtube videos playing automatically?

I don't know if this is directly a Firefox problem or whether it's an add-on issue, but since the update yesterday, embedded YouTube videos have been playing automatically when I open up a page which includes them.

Obviously this isn't ideal because I don't want to be forced to stop the videos every time, especially when there are multiple videos.

Does anyone know what the problem is and how exactly to solve it?
