So you have a Yahoo mail account. You need bulk mail (Yahoos name for Junk) as your Thunderbird account should be pointed to that as the junk folder.

yConversations is you yahoo messenger archive, Why YAhoo put that in an IMAP mail account I have no idea.

Right click the account in the folder pane and select subscribe. Unsubscribe from any folder you do not wish to see.

I have UNsubscribed many times and the folders are still there .

After I unsubscribe I try to delete the folder with no results .
Do you have any other fixes ? thanks for your help

Right click the account in the folder list, select settings, then the server settings for the account. Click the advanced button and set the option to only display subscribed folders.
