Why does my mozilla / firefox home page have typeovers over other websites making both hard to read? This does not happen while I am using Internet Explorer.

When I go on line to read the news of the day on the yahoo home page going down the page, There are multiple typeovers. It appears to have a complete page set up and then during the day, there are more entries but there is not enough space, soooooo, to get another item in, the new entry is typed over the initial entry; thereby , making both entries(1&2) hard to read. One is in bold print and the other is in lighter print. This does not happen when I use Internet Explorer; however, it does when I use Mozilla-Firefox. Phil
