I can't download Firefox because it doesn't recognize me as either the Adminsitrator or Current User.

There are 2 options to choose from: Current User (with my name on it) and Administrator. I am both the current user and the Administrator. When I choose the Current user option, nothing happens. When I choose the Administrator option and include my Administrator password, nothing happens. Firefox never used to be this difficult to download before. What happened? I've been trying to do this for more than 3 hours now!  :(

Try downloading the full off-line installer package and save it - don't run it. http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html

Hello, if the above the-edmeister's reply does not help, then try to boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) and then see if that allows to install Firefox from the the-edmeister's above link.

thank you

There is no "Save" option, only "Run" or "Cancel".  :(

Try to save the file via the right-click context menu (IE: Save Target As; Firefox: Save Link As) if you can't do this via a left-click.
