Thunderbird was working fine yesterday. Today it will not send or receive email from google gmail. It does, however, work fine with my juno account. I've checked settings and all seems fine. I've uninstalled the application and reinstalled it with no success. When I open the application, juno emails are downloaded but gmail files are not ... and the app keeps running. It does not turn off until I close it.

Any ideas of what I can do to solve this problem? Gmail is working fine on the internet and all settings seem to be fine.

No error message.

However, discovered that if I turn off avast! TB works perfectly. Unless someone on this forum knows how to solve this, I guess I'll contact avast! and ask them how to grant permission to TB.
