FF33.1 on Win7 - clicking on a Yahoo search hit sometimes closes tab?
Example: Yahoo search "norton 360" - first few hits are Symantec and clicking any of them closes the tab. Clicking the Best Buy link works correctly...
Edit>>> My FF just updated to 33.1.1 and problem persists...

c.s.c. Thank you for your question and your update. I understand that when you use yahoo search that the tabs sometimes close.
I used the search bar in the browser, where are you searching from? https://search.yahoo.com/search?p=norton+360&ei=UTF-8&fr=moz33 was the search url, it may be interesting to compare if its a url difference as well.
Have you tried a Firefox Reset? Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings
Well I just repeated the same search, from Yahoo Finance - Search Web button, and it's working correctly.
I can't say that Yahoo was a factor since that's usually the only search tool I use (Google always returns a boatload of extraneous garbage).
If it happens again I will try the reset and post an update including the search hit URL.
I've been using FF exclusively for 5+ years now and have had a few glitches but they always seem to get fixed within a release or 2...
Thank you, CC
