I have two email addresses at my ISP Comcast. The first is: hxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxe@comcast.net and has been set up at Thunderbird-it is working fine. Now I want to add my second Comcast email address (hxxxxxxxxxxexx@comcast.net) to Thunderbird without it interfering with the first address. Can I add this second email address and if so-HOW?

On the menu, File|New|Existing Mail Account…

No menu? Press the <alt> key to make it appear temporarily.

Or, via the Application Menu button (the one with three lines that we're not supposed to need to explain because it's so very self-explanatory - I'm not a fan of it!)

click [≡] hover over New Message click on Existing Mail Account

(see image below)

Or select an existing account in the left hand pane. Right-click it, select Settings. A settings window appears. At the bottom of the narrow pane at the left look for Account Actions, click this and select Add Mail Account.

In all cases, fill in the email address you want to add, and its password, and your name, and click Continue.

DO NOT click Get New Account.

You would set up another email account with them. Most providers will allow more than one email address. After you arrange that, make a second account in Thunderbird.

I already have the second account with my ISP-what I need to know is how to add this to my current Thunderbird email without it interfering with my current account? How do I add the second account-what are the necessary steps?
