I am a google search engine user typically. Suddenly it won't open ANY websites. I can type in a search term and the results will appear as usual but when I select a specific site to open nothing will open properly. Without exception the pages open as a blank dark screen without any error message or display code. The tab at top of page displays "url (GIF image, 1 x 1 pixels) no matter what the page should be. This only occurs when trying to select a web site from google results page. Everything opens properly when typed directly into address bar. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

Many thanks,
