My inbox is running out of space and I don't know why
I use Thunderbird for 4 separate email accounts: one aol account, and 1 imap account, and two POP3 accounts. All inboxes are functioning fine, except the imap account. With a total of 109 emails in my inbox, I am told that my inbox is 85% full, and its losing about 5% per new email. However, I have over 400+ emails in all other inboxes, with no space limit nearing completion. I cannot delete emails, as I need to save them for work, but I need to figure out how to accrue more space so I don't lose sending/receipt abilities for this email.
Please let me know how to remedy this issue.

Deleting emails only mark them for deletion and hide them. You have to Compact the folder to remove them and free up the space. When was the last time you compacted your folders?

I have compacted every day. Unfortunately, no space has been freed up.
If you log into your account at the providers web mail page do you see these emails? Can you delete them there?
