Hi Team,

I am looking for alternative solution MS Office Outlook 2007/2010. Could you share the below details

Will it support Exchange 2003/2010 server? What about Custom setting via AD GPO , restricting / disabling Reply to all, etc How about security? will it remain the same work flow as like MS Office outlook

Thunderbird is an open protocol mail program, is has no Microsoft specific features, unlike Outlook which is almost exclusively Microsoft features as it is designed as a client for Microsoft Exchange. Real eMail is an after thought.

Therefore your entire question gets a no answer as you only ask about Microsoft proprietary protocols and products.

There are add-ons that do exchange functions. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/exquilla-exchange-web-services/?src=ss

Thanks for your reply.

Do you have ADM template to restrict / block unwanted items in Mozilla Thunderbird email client... like dont allow add-ons and extensions installation, chat restriction, etc. I have downloaded one from Add-ons, but its not good enough. if we have more options then it will be grateful

if we have OCS/Lync integration with Mozilla Thunderbird client, it will be fantastic. It will overtake MS outlook with Exchange.

Could you share any user or product guide.
