I am receiving a error that states"SMTP error from remote mail service" This is my work e-mail that is a out look e-mail service--but was put on my laptop in mozilla. If I test send e-mails to my gmail, aol and the work e-mail the work e-mail goes through (on the mozilla) but I get the error report for the gmail and aol test.

Ok the support they are talking about there is the hosting service support. What is happening is their SMTP server is rejecting mail because it's scoring formula suggests a 100% probability it is SPAM mail. All those a= mean something to the cpanel support people.

So what do I do? We are a private small business, so no IT department! Who is the hosting service? What are my options?

Thank you again for your help!

Given that there is a cpanel, I am guessing small enough that mail and web site are provided by the same hosting service. So I suggest you contact them

Sorry again, but I don't understand--who is my hosting service and what is a cpanel? Is the problem stemming from the true work e-mail set up provider or the connection/internet provider? I have been working from home with my laptop, so not certain if the issue is from my home connection? Or is the error message referring to a problem with the true e-mail program, that it will not matter where I am trying to send e-mails...from my laptop at home, or work? Sorry to be a pain and untech savvey! Thank you!
