First, my device and connection...

Device: I am using a Samsung Galaxy Note 4, a top of the line (really fast) phone.

Connection: I have a very fast Internet connection. Both my cellular and my wifi connections are at 20+ mbps and I have tested and confirmed that on the phone using speedtest.net.

> Problem: When trying to browse the Internet using Firefox, websites load REALLY slow.

Not some websites, literally ALL websites.

A website that will take 1-5 seconds to load with any other browser is taking 30-60+ seconds to load using Firefox... often websites won't even load at all, they will just time out.

> Tests I Have Run:

1. I have tested my Internet speed and connection, both are great. Strong signal and 20+ mbps.

2. I have tried loading the same websites using other browsers on the same phone at the same time. Literally all the pages load fast and just fine using any other browser.

I have tested with Chrome, Opera, Boat, Next, Mercury, UC, and more. They all work fine. The issue has something to do specifically with Firefox.

> Other:

I really LOVE everything about Firefox for Android!!! I love the features, navigation, etc.

I want to use Firefox as my main browser, the ONLY problem is... It takes FOREVER to load any website! Literally 30-60 seconds to load a page any other browser loads in 1-5 seconds.

What is going on???

Is there something I can do?

If not, please fix this Firefox! I love your browser, I just need it to work!

PS: I couldn't even access this page using firefox! I had to use Opera. ugh =(

Hello elist :-)

I understand your problem , It was my problem too before, and what I did is I uninstall other Android browser apps and Run Firefox as my default browser . And try to uninstall Firefox add-ons you have , except for Ghostery . Hmm if problem persist, please report back to us :-) Cheers! :-)
