Everything is slow, opening pages can take ages, sites are jerky when i try to scroll down, videos either dont load or take ages and sometimes i get what looks like chinese characters over tabs on the top of the browser or on sites like facebook. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall and tried various other solutions but nothing seems to work. I even upgraded to fibre but no difference

hello nicktaylor, please also try to refresh firefox and see if this can address the issue...

the asisan characters around the tabs are caused by the mcafee site advisor extension - please try to disable or remove that in case you have it present until there is an update by mcafee that can fix the problem. http://service.mcafee.com/faqdocument.aspx?id=TS100162
