Gekose oplossing

Tools > Options > Attachments > Incoming tab On the left you will see 'Content Type' Look for the type of document To the right it will say what action to use. Currently it will say eg: 'Use microsoft Office Word' click on the action to get a drop down selection. You can choose another program in the list eg: OpenOffice writer If it does not show in list, select 'Use Other' to see more options. But you do need to have 'OpenOffice' installed in order to select it.

Remember to click on all the OK etc.

OpenOffice is a free software.
