Occasionally Firefox will display what look to be Chinese characters in the upper right hand corner of the display. They are easy enough to clear, just change from full screen to window mode, change the size, and then go back to full screen, but this should not be happening. See attached image for a sample.

Hello racraft, the problem is mcafee site advisor extension, please try to disable or remove that extension and you are OK.

see : How to uninstall SiteAdvisor

check another option, if works for you, without to uninstall the mcafee site advisor extension :

disabled the add-on then close firefox and restart Firefox again. Then enable the add-on again, close firefox one more time and restart Firefox again. (works here :-))

thank you

Thank you for the response. Unfortunately the second option did not fix my problem. I am also not going to uninstall Site Advisor.

I will chalk this up as an unfixed bug in Firefox. Maybe someday it will get fixed.
