Keep getting password not recognized when trying to log in to btinternet.com This account is working! Tested with bt on yahoo mail server and also mail downloads onto mobile ( same account details and password ) Will not change to new password or reset and sam message appears when retry.

The account is working from bt ( tested by bt ) but not with mozilla

This issue can be caused by corrupted cookies or cookies that are blocked.

Clear the cache and remove cookies only from websites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
