Tried search reset addon and nothing changed.

Also Firefox seems to change my settings like home page and font size.

I'm not very tech savvy.

Mac Mini running Yosemite 10.10.2

Thanks

See this works on MacOSX.

Put this in the Location Bar and hit Enter.

chrome://browser/content/search/engineManager.xul

You can copy and paste that internal "address".

Highlight the search engine that you want to remove, then use the Remove button in the lower-right corner.

Would you mind posting up a screenshot? On a mac you can take a screenshot by pressing CMND OPT 4.

Thanks

Worked like a charm, thanks.

It would seem that I may have an underlying problem so I did a Bitdefender scan and it showed no malware. Any thoughts on what it might be?

What search engine did you want to remove?

Is that one of the built-in search engines or one that got installed by an extension or otherwise?
