Searching images (and other things) sometimes brings up the Google You+ black box. How to remove You+ black box?

Normally, searches allow type selection and Search Tools under the Google search box. If B-bar appears, images are links and not expansible for better viewing. Display contains image-info. and search tools are a side bar, but not all of them. Also, doesn't occur all the time. I just want to get rid of the thing. Web searches show how to hide (Greasemonkey; Stylist), but I suspect it won't stop the problem.

Windows 7; Firefox 36.04, recently refreshed.

Is B-bar an option on the Google search, or an add-on / program?

Neither. It seems to be something Google does but doesn't appear as a option on Firefox. It doesn't reside on my computer or Firefox. Not an add-on or extension.
