Ever since we got a new hard drive Firefox is not working well at all. The screen will turn black in places sometimes, sometimes I can't see pictures, and it freezes a lot. It will become not-responding and then inform me that the plugin container has crashed. I also get have issues with scripts not completing.

  • disable protected mode in the Flash plugin (Flash 11.3+ on Windows Vista and later)
