Remembered passwords are stored here:

Tools > Options > Security > Passwords tab or Menu icon > Options > Options > Security > Passwords tab

  • click on 'Saved Passwords' button
  • Click on 'show passwords' button.

There will be two entries for the mail account:

  • Mailbox:// for the mail account
  • smtp:// for the mail account.
  • select these two items and click on 'Remove' button
  • click on 'Close' button
  • click on OK
