Why does TB send outgoing email to the Sent folder separately?
I have noticed that when you send an email to one or more recipients TB then after that sends a copy to the Sent folder in a separate operation. This is no big deal with small emails but with emails that have large attachments this can add significantly to the send time. Why can't TB send the Sent folder copy at the same time as the main send operation? As I see it this would be no different than sending to another BCC recipient and would greatly speed up the whole Send operation. Thank you, DaveWK

err, the sent folder is saved locally and then synchronized to the IMAP server. Long delays in saving to the sent folder almost always trace back to anti virus programs scanning the attachments to the mail that they scanned three or four times already in the mail creation process.
What anti virus product do you use? Is it faster is you disable the email component of that product.
